WINTER 2015

All of us at Dr. Steven W. Farley are getting sick of this Connecticut winter!

One of our good friends wrote this poem and we think it sums up winter 2015 pretty well. We had to share it!

WINTER3

It’s snowing AGAIN!
Oh what a surprise—
Soon the depth of the snow
Will reach to an elephant’s thighs.

It started with a blizzard
Then every few days,
That white stuff keeps coming
And blocking roadways.

The weather reports
Are getting depressing
And school cancellations
Are becoming distressing.

There’s only so high
I can shovel this stuff;
Don’t know about you,
But I’ve had quite enough.

The deep freezing temperatures
Are biting at me
And preventing the melting
That we’d all like to see.

My muscles are aching
My patience is gone…
Please, Mother Nature,
Bring back my lawn.

The calendar says
In a month it is spring;
I’m beginning to wonder
If there’ll be such a thing.

As the saying goes,
Things can always be worse
But this winter has sure been

One heck of a curse.
